2. Trail network and app

No two visits are the same. Explore from your gut and who knows what you’ll discover? Access LeTerrain’s beautiful geotagged topographic trail map through the Avenza app to see your location even off trail.

3. Events and retreats

LeTerrain is a unique setting for all kinds of gatherings and retreats. With an Earth&Sky pass you can rent the entire facility for your private group gatherings and retreats.

4. The darkest of skies

LeTerrain’s vast wilderness consistently registers darkness readings of 22 mag/arcsec2. This means it’s exceptional for naked eye astro observation, as well as for astrophotography. The next closest official dark sky park is a 4.5-hour drive southeast. Get unlimited access to our dark skies for only 50 bucks!

5. Winter

LeTerrain seems to come alive in the winter. Deep snow, big topography and groomed trails makes for a wide variety of winter adventures. Lets face it if you live in the area and try to avoid winter…. ya lose. Get dressed right and go hit it. There is something fun for everyone.

7. Your furry family

Dogs love the wilderness even more than we do. We love dogs!!! LeTerrain is a very dog-friendly zone. Come for a run, a walk, an adventure… on or off the trails.

8. Access

This is not a ‘short term rental facility’ therefore we are phasing out all other platforms for access to LeTerrain Wilderness Park and its facilities. As of Summer 2024, only pass holders have exclusive access to this true getaway just a 1-hour country drive north of Ottawa.

9. Your gift

Spending time in real wilderness strengthens and clarifies our intuition. More fun than a gym membership, more seasons than a ski pass; there are so many wellness benefits to spending time in nature.

But we here at LeTerrain believe the most important benefit to accessing wilderness is the strengthening and clarifying of intuition. Especially in these confusing times your intuition is you moral compass, it is you empathy, it is your future.

10. A diverse ecosystem

At LT Park we sustain 5 wetlands, 6 mountain peaks ranging to 300 feet high, old growth forests, and natural meadows bursting with creeks and springs. LeTerrain is home to moose, deer, wolves, otters, beavers, owls, and eagles—to name a few! It is the thousands of acres of wilderness surrounding LeTerrain that keep its skies, creeks and springs so clear.
