Dogstar - Check-in Instructions
Please be very very familiar with our check-in guide or you may not find the cabin! There will be little to no cell service and possibly no one around. Park in the main entrance area inside the gate and feel free to start your hike to the cabin! Dogstar will be ready for you as of 3pm. Please be sure to arrive well before dark or you will not find your way :). There will be a simple trail map for you in a tupperware container near the main house on the Picnic table close to where you park.

When you see the LeTerrain sign and the barn you have arrived! Park anywhere inside the gate.
Start your 20-25min hike up to the cabin. The trail (in red) starts on the left side of the barn and heads south towards the hilltop cabin. If you have made prior arrangements for help with getting your things to the cabin I will be there to greet and assist. Otherwise enjoy your hike!
You have arrived! Enjoy Dogstar and the breath taking view!
What to bring:
Bedding such as pillows, blankets, sleeping bag
Ice for the cooler
Download our trail map and the accompanying Avenza app
In the cabin:
Cooler
Drinking water jugs
Wood for the woodstove (Oct - Mar).
